Maskerada turned her head away, trying to hold back a flood of helpless tears. She felt filthy.

"No! Not my mask!" Was all Maskerada had time to cry.
"Mr.S. seized her mask and pulled it up. "Now to see whose face is under the mask, Maskerada!"
"Alright here goes the the mask, and there's nothing she can do to stop it now!" Johnny Diamonnd thought as he watched the Jumbotron, mesmerized. "Just a little higher... a little higher... and now... Oh god! Her mask is finally off!
"What th-- ?? OK, nice trick Maskerada, but it won't save you. C'mon Mr.S., grab her by her hair and force her head up! She can't hide now! Not when she's so helpless! Show us her face!!"
This unmaking is being done so slowly and tortuously, which I have to say is the way I've always wanted to see it (but hardly ever have). But it's totally driven me insane! In a good way, I mean. So next time I'd really like to see the reverse: A fast, harsh, brutal unmasking where Maskerada is ambushed and you just rip her mask off. If she could do a little acting with wide, shocked eyes and heher mouth open like she's gasping, it would really add to the suddenness of her defeat. Then you could tie or cuff her and, you know, follow your heart. ;)
